KIT LS Swap Coolant Reservoir Mounting Brackets for 1982-1993 Chevrolet S10, Blazer, and more

Take your S10 LS Swap to the next level with our bolt on pressurized Coolant Reservoir Mounting Bracket kit. This setup takes a Coolant Bottle from a 1999 - 2005 Pontiac Grand Am and bolts it to a 1982 - 1993 Chevrolet S10, Blazer and more. With the factory battery tray installed, no drilling or modifications to the truck are required. This bolts in place of the S10 Coolant Bottle on the fender and adds a second bracket that bolts in place with the battery tray and battery hold down.

The lower bracket can also be installed without a battery tray, but drilling for the second hole and using a spacer to make up the height of the tray is recommended.

From the factory the LS engines use a pressurized coolant reservoir to help remove steam and air pockets from the coolant system. With the steam port setup the coolant bottle becomes a degassing chamber that extracts air bubbles from the coolant system and allows the coolant to do its job optimally without needing to burp the system.

On an S10 this also moves the radiator cap significantly above the engine and allows a radiator without a cap to be cleanly recessed into the core support. No clearance is needed for a cap when a radiator without a cap is used - a Cavalier or Grand Am radiator are a great fit and their core sized similarly to the popular Corvette swap radiator. I've used both of these radiators along with this coolant bottle setup with great success even in Arizona heat working A/C to the max.

Brackets are Designed and Made in the USA from 5052 aluminum and A1008 Cold Roll Steel powder coated black.

• Battery Tray Mount Powder Coated Steel Bracket
• Mounting Nut for Battery Tray Bracket to Battery Tray Bolt
• Clip on U-Nut for Reservoir to Battery Tray Bracket
• Mounting Bolt for Reservoir to Battery Tray Bracket

Purchase does not include the reservoir, but any coolant bottle from a 1999-2005 Chevrolet Cavalier, Malibu, Oldsmobile Alero, Pontiac Grand Am, or Sunfire is a direct fit.
